Marco Crupi - Artist
Designer, Motion Artist, Photographer
I spent the better part of the last 25 creating content for a variety of clients spread across the corporate world.
I began my design journey in Rome, Italy at the Istituto Europeo of Design. Validating my skills through their 3D Animation program. Decided to enhance my passion for design and moved to NYC to attend the School of Visual Arts. New York City offered me many options as well as an immense amount of inspiration by meeting amazing artists and teachers. I thrived in the design environment for 15 years as a Motion Artist excelling at forms of movement and sounds through After Effects and other 3D software. I diversified my work into similar yet different visual forms by adding photography to my craft, a passion passed on to me by my late father. He gifted me an old Zenit-E and I ran with it building a darkroom in my home and experimenting with it. I found myself traveling long and wide across interesting places across the US and capturing the essence of them. Thousands of pictures and miles later I started a family. Photography took a different form, a less taxing one with less traveling. I began photographing people and portraits / headshots. I am always learning and paying attention to the current trends without allowing myself to become overwhelmed by them. I am always searching for a rewarding form of visual stimuli. Once a artist, always an artist.
